Working Principle of Diverter Damper

Open Position:
When it is in OPEN state, the damper blade is aligned with the duct, allowing the gas media to pass through the primary flow path without obstruction or pressure loss. This ensures smooth and uninterrupted system operation.

Transition / Closing Movement:
When actuation is initiated, it rotates or slide the blade into the required position. During this stage, the gas flow begins to either divert or isolates, depending on the operational requirement.

Closed / Diverted Position
When it is in CLOSED state, the blade completely blocks the main duct or redirects the gas flow toward an alternate path (bypass line). High performance sealing arrangements ensure minimal to zero leakage, enabling effective isolation of the system.
